Picture of Oksana Grigorieva's teeth goes public -- along with reports of dentist's doubts
What could be worse than daily doses of angry profanity and slurs? Perhaps this picture of Oksana Grigorieva, allegedly taken by her dentist the day after her January fight with Mel Gibson -- a photograph made public by Radar Online on Friday.
Ugly, yes, but clear evidence of a punch to the mouth? Not exactly.
Sources familiar with the dentist's charts, photos and exam tell TMZ that Dr. Ross Sheldon found no evidence of a direct blow to the face, but rather saw a bruise on Grigorieva's left temple, and two bite marks on the inside of her lower lip. His theory, according to those sources, is that such a blow could have caused her to bite down hard enough to dislodge the veneers.
In a tape made public Tuesday, Grigorieva was heard accusing her ex-boyfriend of "hitting a woman when she's holding a child in her hands? Breaking her teeth, twice, in the face." The Jan. 6 altercation got physical but not violent, sources on Mel's side said in June; sources on her side have alleged he hit her in the face twice.
Sources connected with the dentist -- who reportedly filed a sworn declaration related to the case -- also told TMZ that the picture circulating Friday had been doctored.
L.A. County Sheriff's detectives are investigating an allegation of domestic violence involving Gibson, which Grigorieva filed officially on July 5.
Sources connected with Gibson have alleged that Grigorieva wanted $10 million to keep ...
Whether the audio tapes were altered has also been a matter of discussion. The Times has not independently verified the authenticity of the tapes, but no one connected to Gibson has called them into question.

Uhm... if she took a fist to the mouth... wouldn't her lips be busted up a bit? I mean.. whenever I've fallen and hit my mouth, or chipped a tooth... my lip was ALWAYS split.
(PS i've never been abused, i used to horseback ride and do a lot of other sports... plus i'm clumsy haha)

I heard OctoMom has a spare room in her house.
What kind of women keep getting pregnant and expect
everyone to take care of their children?
I say if you want to have a child be prepared to
support the child yourself. We live in the 21st
Century and we know marriages or relationships don't last most of the time.
OKSANA is out the the MONEY!

Pathetic, but typical PR move by Gibson's "people" planting this bogus non-story.
Today's new picture does not lie - and not once does Gibson challenge Girgorieva's statements that he hit her during any of the infamous tapes of his incredibly disgusting and abusive phone calls.
Unlike Gibson and his "people," anyone with a modicum of decency about themselves should make it a point to never again support this now-non-closeted racist & misogenist.

This has started to get too voyeuristic for me.
I do not support violence of any kind, but if this woman was truly abused, both physically and/or mentally, then why did she not just take herself and her supposed evidence to the police and report it.
This slow release of tapes and photos, is an obvious attempt to crucify someone and their career, presumably for some financial gain.
Reporting violence to the authority is a credible response.
Media manipulation is not.
I have to, unfortunately, question the believability of this woman.
She is not helping women in any way shape or form.

This woman is beginning to get on my nerves. It would be interesting to learn who is releasing this info to the media. Obviously, Mel Gibson has anger management issues, and she stands to gain quite a bit by exposing him.

When we first heard about the alleged assault, Oksana was saying he knocked out her teeth, but we can see her teeth are not knocked out--just veneers damaged. Then she said that he hit her twice in the mouth, but there was no evidence of that in the picture or in the dentist's records. What gives??
When she mentions the alleged assault on one of the tapes, it was unclear to me whether Gibson was responding to the words we heard her say or to something else. Think about it--if the tapes are doctored, as some experts are suggesting now, how hard would it be to copy his comment "you deserved it" and insert it into a speech about an assault that she made into a microphone at a later date. Sound crazy?? Sure, but so do all the other inconsistencies in her stories. Here is another one: she insists she did not release the tapes or photo, but she became "furious" when people questioned the authenticity of the photo. Who cares if people don't believe the photo is real when you never meant for them to see it anyways? The list of contradictions just goes on and on.
Mel had a terrible way of saying it in all his rage and profanity, but he was correct when he said his instincts told him she was against him and that he did not trust her. I wished he had listened to his instincts and protected himself from her exploitation of his weaknesses in the media and also in court.

this is just sad. Gibson has anger issues, but since he was married for 28 years before this, he never laid a hand on his exwife or their kids and she's standing up for him. His ex has a lot of integrity with the hollywood crowd as well. I've bust my front teeth before, twice. Once when I got hit in the face accidentally, bloodied my nose swollen top lip, I couldn't even smile, my top lip wouldn't move. The second time no swollen lip, chipped the mess out of my front tooth like hers, how, it was a bike accident and I was going over bumps in the path, cracked the tooth, but it didn't come off till I eating. Also a veneer from the previous accident. The second one showed no injury to my lip, because it wasn't because of being hit. So I agree if this shot was taken the next day, there is no sign of facial injury which would be associated if someone hit her in the face.

That picture is obviously doctored. As people have said previously, there is no damage to the lip. She would have had to deliberately held her mouth open in a very specific way to get those results.
There's also the whole thing about the tapes being tampered with, which is pretty obvious, actually, when you both hear what experts have to say and listen to the fact that many of the conversations make no sense and are obviously out of context.
But the biggest thing for me is the fact that making that picture would be pretty much the easiest Photoshop job ever. Just take a rather unattractive picture of Oksana where the inside of her mouth is dark, and paint over her teeth with the paintbrush tool. It takes five minutes.
I can tell Mel is a bit unbalanced, but I don't think he's nearly as bad as Oksana is making him out to be. I almost feel sorry for him.
