Report: Oksana Grigorieva's sister suspected of leaking Mel Gibson tapes [Updated]

Authorities are looking into whether Natalie Grigorieva -- younger sister of Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva -- was the source of audiotapes leaked to a celebrity website, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Reporter cites sources close to the investigation, including one who alleges Natalie shopped the tapes to various outlets, asking that money change hands before anyone listened to the goods.

[Updated, 3:00 p.m.: Oskana on Friday lashed out at her ex in public, blaming him for various accusations: "Mel is lying. He is lying. There is no extortion. There's no texts and no e-mails ... I am fighting for my child. He’s just a liar, and it will come in the court, just wait."

She also defended Natalie, saying her sister didn't have the tapes. "She erased them a long time ago."]

Radar editor David Perel has maintained the website coughed up no dough for the audio. "We did not pay for the tapes," he told the Daily Beast. "Not a dime." On Howard Stern's show, Perel said Oksana wasn't the source of the tapes.

On June 25, Mel secured a restraining order prohibiting Oksana from making the tapes public. On July 1, details about the tapes began to leak, with the first of six tapes so far being made public July 9.

This woman has lied to all of us a number of times, and she is not very good at it.

So, by her admission, her sister did have the tapes, that is before she erased them. So who else knew about the tapes ? Since she states that she has no idea how the tapes got out, how many people knew about the tapes?

I do feel bad though that Mel caused that baby to have a pimple like that.

It's sad how many of you automatically defend the filmstar as though he is a personal friend of yours rather than weighing the evidence on those tapes.

It is pretty clear to me that this was a woman in an abusive relationship. Gibson never once talks to her rationally or with basic human respect.

What is going on?
For years there has been no scandal with Mel. He was one of the few who was a family man. He kept himself pure and not lived the fake plastic chiurgie I want attention weird Hollywood lifestyle. Besides the alchohol abuse. Then came the drunken rage and antisetisme. And now this. This is beginning to become the tabloid circus like with Britney Spears, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jackson and Lindsey Lohan. It all ends up in very dangerous to deadly way.
What has happened to Mel? Has he really lost it? Why are allmost all big music and moviestars ending up in such a sad and lost way. Like they are truly losing their souls. And falling from grace? Is Mel the next? Is there no escape from this?

And this women? Why isn't she stopping the outcome of these tapes if it doesn't come from her. This is career destroying. In the end also for her. Cause if this turning out to be better for Mel. Then she is the scapegoat. And she will regret's it all.
The one who is sending these tapes is not right in the head. The police has to handle this case. Not the media. This woman is going to suffer under the media attention. Untill she can take it anymore. And maybe the case will be dismissed. I hope it for Mel. Mel is a good man. I don't think he has done real abuse. Except the verbal abuse. This women is getting it all back to her. What a mess, what a mess. Only in Hollywood Babylon, only in Hollywood Babylon.

Regardless whether Mel was abusive or not, this woman and her entourage are just simply scum. She planned the whole thing up and is using the scandal outlets to fight her cause. she is an aging, grasping, bitter, ruthless wannabe. her music is muzak. she couldn't make it so she tagged along with those who had. i wasn't fussy about what i heard on the tapes, but they should have gone to the police not the public. she is using everyone who listens to them. i hope the tables turn on her fast. why doesn't she go back where she came from.
