Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt buy $40-million Italian villa

Life is dolce for Angelina Jolie and Brad PItt, as the pair have purchased a roughly $40-million Italian villa, according to a new report.

The 15-bedroom estate -- in Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, where "Romeo and Juliet" was set -- counts among its features a screening room, two pools, several Jacuzzis and a home gym.

"Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie saw it for 10 minutes and they said yes," Alexander Proto, a consultant for the property, told E! News.

"They were very determined. We are very pleased [to] have worked with them … no problems, very nice, very competent, ideal customers."

Living in this kind of luxury is nothing new for the Jolie-Pitts -- remember, twins Knox and Vivienne were born while the family was camping out at Chateau Miraval in the south of France.

I just bought a doll house for my grandma now that she is shrinking with a pool view here in kansas and i paid far less than $40 million for 20 toilets and a big screen tv and gym.

hahaha according to peolpe here in nz brad pitt is here in nz

Sounds as though there will be lots of room for all...more power to you. When you work hard at your jobs ,and as awesome parents ,not to mention all that you do for others you should get what ever your heart desires ....sounds great.

Hey Jolie-Pitts - Adopt me!

According to other "sources" this couple has property everywhere but the moon. It was reported they bought property in Germany (NO), Greece (NO), some mountain lodge somewhere in the US (NO), Brad has a "bachelore pad" in Northern California's Big Sur (NO), Long Island, NY (NO). So, until they start moving furniture, I would put this in the same category.

And here we thought only "evil republicans" had money.
I guess all that BS, was just liberal propaganda.
So the next time these "activists" talk about the poor and the evils of capitalism, think of poor Al Gore his new house only cost 8 million.

$40 million would build an awful lot of roads and schools and hospitals and fresh-water systems in those Third World hellholes that Brad and Angie and their buddy George Clooney self-righteously browbeat us great unwashed about!
