Amanda Bynes' brief retirement ends with a tweet
Amanda Bynes has apparently come out of the retirement from acting she announced on Twitter on June 19. And yes, this groups her with unretirees Jay-Z and Joaquin Phoenix, only on steroids when it comes to the turnaround time.
Note to the 56% of voters (as this post went live) in our nonscientific online poll who predicted she'd be back -- good job! We have no prize for you, but we presume you'll bask in the glow of your accuracy for at least a week or so, or until @chicky retires again, whichever comes first.
Bynes' pithy tweet "I'm unretired" was launched into the Interwebs' ether Friday night, followed minutes later by a link to the trailer for her movie "Easy A," which hits theaters Sept. 17.
Oh, look at that, we just promoted "Easy A." Funny how that happens.

hey what is wrong with Amanda bynes coming back. she was very young when she started acting and missed allot of her childed life so to take some time off or as they say retirement so that she could live and see what a normal life is. And dont be surprised if she dose retire again to get get married and start a family live life like its supposed to be.

OMG! I LOVE What i like about you maybe they will bring it back but i doubt they will bring back the amanda show(BTW:that was an awesome show) cuz its been over since September 21, 2002 so yeah it wont b back.

Jesus Christ, she can't change her mind? Because all people in their 20s know exactly what they're going to do for the rest of their lives... I'd reckon most people hating on her are either too young to know who she is, or too old to have seen her appeal when she was big. At least she seems like a decent person and has kept a clean image, as far as I know, which is far more respectable than plenty of other celebs in her age group.
