The new Wonder Woman can't keep up with Lynda Carter? [poll]
Hey, Wonder Woman -- Lynda Carter didn't need no stinkin' pants.
Or leggings.
Or whatever the DC Comics folks are calling the bottom half of the 69-year-old lady superhero's new urban-hip getup, designed by DC co-publisher and "X-Men" artist Jim Lee.
"What woman only wears one outfit for 70 years?" writer J. Michael Straczynski said on DC Comics' the Source blog. What woman doesn’t accessorize? And more to the point, as many women have lamented over the years … how does she fight in that thing?"
Well, perhaps she uses a stunt double, dear.
That's Carter at the far right, with stunt double Jeannie Epper in an undated photo, rocking the late-'70s TV version of the costume, designed by Donfeld.
Make sure to vote in the poll below. Fans of Wonder Woman Classic, hot pants and all,
are interested to know ...

If a new WonderWoman was to be made producers would have to search far and wide for a better heroin than Lynda Carter. I mean her figure back then is still finer than most Caucasian actresses today unless they went for other than Caucasian actress. In which case maybe J-Lo could do it simply because she looks the closest to it, but knowing Hollywood they would probably try to get Angelina Jolie

They have already done this with Batman, Superman & Green Lantern and every time they returned these characters to their original themes that made them all legendary icons. While DC will gain new short attention, pop fans it will not make up for the amount of "true" fans they will alienate. It is these true fans that keep the fantasy, sci-fi, comic book genres successful year in and year out. Be patient Wonder Woman fans. This to shall pass.

So much for Wonder Woman's WHOLESOME AMERICAN IMAGE! Geez. Updates are fine, but this defeats the whole purpose.
Stupid.

why do they always have to screw up a good thing just like the remake of the bionic woman, they forget that sound effects were a big part of the show and they didnt have any ,and look what happened to that show If they bring back wonder woman do it with class and keep alot of original data they change to much to bring current and it loses alot in the translation.

look what happened to The Green Hornet. Great special effects but the hero was completely out of character.

These new producers are trying to bring a political correctness to the show..what it depicts..is that you don't have to be an American or show support for the "American" flag to be a superhero. This is a disservice to the true fans of Wonder women..I hope Linda Carter is equally displeased.
Shame on you....
