Valerie Bertinelli: Engaged (which is cool) and working with Betty White (which almost seems cooler)

Valerie Bertinelli is engaged to beau Tom Vitale, she tells AARP the Magazine, after he surprised her with a proposal at the oldest restaurant in Florence during their recent vacation there -- her first trip to Italy.
Bertinelli’s also coming back to the small screen with the white-hot Betty White in the pilot of ‘Hot in Cleveland,’ a TV Land sitcom that got the green light a while back and premieres June 16. The premise: On the way to Paris, Bertinelli and two friends (Wendy Malick and Jane Leeves) find themselves in Cleveland, where they decide rent a house that comes with White as the caretaker.
(OK, we’re sure the actual pitch was better than that, but you get the idea.)
