Robert Pattinson knocks on a few Chicago-area doors
Last week, the Ministry talked to Maria Mele, the mother of one of three Chicago-area families surprised by Robert Pattinson ahead of the "Twilight" cast's appearance Wednesday on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
"We were all screaming like nut cases," she said. "He was so genuine. He hugged everybody, took pictures ... told a lot of jokes."
Mele described the day's events in great detail, and now you can see for yourself how it went down for the Mele family and others, as it was aired on Wednesday's show.
Prepare for high-pitched screams and click here for the video that shows the Pattinson sense of humor Mele described. (Those who hear sounds at normal frequencies need not fear: When he answers the door for Pattinson, dad Sam Mele thankfully provides a break for the ears.)
What would you say if your favorite movie star showed up at your door? I'd go with, " 'Gladiator' is truly the Best Movie of All Time, but you had me at 'L.A. Confidential.' "

Even as gay man...I don't see the appeal whatsoever to this very pale, drab looking fella'....he's basically just icky really...

Its not the appeal of him as much as he plays Edward who is a dreamy character
