Miss USA Rima Fakih's throbbing nonscandal -- would someone just get the young lady some pizza?

Miss-usa-web Rima Fakih smiled, she thanked Donald Trump for "hiring" her, she didn't fall while walking in her gown.

What's left for the newest Miss USA except for the requisite scandal, right? This time it comes via MySpace in the form of a 2008 short film, "Throbbing Justice," in which the former Miss Michigan appears surrounded by some of the worst non-adult-film acting ever.

And get this -- she's fully clothed. And wait! A guy who worked on the film recalls her wanting very much to stay that way, Freep.com reports. Oh, the scandal!!

So of course, the Ministry had to go to the video's MySpace page check out the train wreck. Oddly, no crowd formed around our vast cubicle empire, not even when a plastic penis was hurled across the screen as a weapon or when the American flag was used as a hospital blanket. (Neither of those scenes, for the record, included the future Miss USA, who appears mercifully briefly.)

Full disclosure: Not for lack of trying, the Ministry didn't make it through the whole Mantastic Films video because, at our advanced age, we tend to doze off after 15 minutes or so of anything.

Also, on Sunday night, the Ministry couldn't help but really like this girl when, in answer to the how-do-you-feel-now-that-you've-won question, she replied,  "Ask me after I've had a pizza."

Our message to Fakih? Honey, when we were your age, we were in lousy student and "indie" short films too and didn't even approach how you look in a bikini. Comedy is hard. You kept your shirt on. It happens. And if it's any consolation, you come off looking a lot better than pretty much the entire rest of the cast. Which, now that we think about it, probably isn't that difficult, given your whole "beauty queen" thing.

Gotta go. Pizza time.

it's nice to see someone other than a blonde win the crown...and of a different ethnicity...now that's American!

@Cisco -- I agree!!

I don't care what she did in the past, she is absolutly beautiful.

It is great to see this wonderfully beautiful woman make the most prestigious women's award , Miss USA. Ya and from Michigan, too! GO BLUE! Congratulations!

At least her breast are real!

It is pure rubbish to say "good thing another white person didn't win" -- My kids aren't "white" and I'll be really freaking pissed off if things are handed to them in life because their "mixed-race" status is considered "cool".

We're all simply humans, never forget it.

This human fell on her dress, and gave a borderline retarded answer about "costly" drugs. Anyone who watched the thing would be justifiably stunned that she won.

Did any of the contestants have real boobs?

Whatever she did in the past, it is nearly not as bad as the former 'wholly' girl from last year who had sex tapes all over the net. Yet, proponents of the idea that this girl was chosen for political reasons supported her nonetheless. Today, they are crying fowl all over the net about how Trump's organization has politicised the pageant.

Double shameful standards even by hell's best men.

Too skiny. Were are the women with meat on thier bones like TRUE american women.

It is repulsive to me that some of you people can actually sit there and say that A white girl doesn't deserve to win based on her skin color!!! If any one said that about a muslim girl or a mexican girl they would be called racist! You should all be ashamed of yourselves for being so hypocritical and down-right pin-headed!!
This girl did not deserve to win because she could not walk in heels and it has nothing to do with her skin tone or origins!!!
The question about Arizona was answered correctly and this is just another example of liberals trying to run-over any one who disagrees with their moronic view-points!!!

Hubba, Hubba!

She's pretty enough that she could go on a pilgrimage to Mecca dressed in a bikini, escorted by Franklin Graham, and get away with it.

Onions, bell pepper, Jalapeno, Chorizo, ground bison, spinach, black olives, mushrooms, veal, pepperonni, sausage, roma tomatoes, olive oil, queso asadero, provolone, pepper jack, parmesian, and meunster cheese. 5 Cheese TEXAS Pizza, Y que?

Is this possible, an online blog associated with a major news media that isn't trying to make this some huge scandal? What's wrong with you people? What will you be doing next, responsible journalism? For shame!

You need to jump on the bandwagon that says she won even though she tripped on her gown, so obviously the whole pageant was fixed because we all know the Arab Muslims Terrorists rule all beauty pageants which is why every single Miss America and Miss USA since 11 September 2001 has been Arabic even though they didn't look it and this is part of some vast conspiracy to BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Just wait. Because you posted this, somebody in your city is going to be smitten by God. Somebody who lives near you will trip, and will not be named Miss USA. I guarantee it.

to all who say that she didn't deserve to win cos she fell while walking on stage:
first of all she did not fall, she just tripped cos her gown was tight at the legs!! yeah that's a huuuuuuuuuge mistake, C'monnnn
2nd, Look at her picture!!! she won even though she tripped!! she has natural beauty and she's smart. did she deserve to win?? well yes, yes and HELL YES!!!

The controversy comes from politically correct judges and questions

Get off her back, this lady is classic and classy. Pole dancing is not stripping. It is now a true form of exercise and if you don't believe it try it. Anymore the darn (ment stronger language) news kinda reporters are tearing everything and anyone apart just for the fun of it. Get a life and let this lady enjoy hers. It is getting so that anytime you get in the spot light you learn to regret it. It will get to the point only those with no life get to go out.

Lebanon is so proud of you Rima.
She's a wonderful & beautiful woman !

No one said that "good thing another white person didn't win". What was said was that "it's nice to see someone other than a blonde win the crown...and of a different ethnicity...now that's American!" What don't you get from that?

Blonde hair is not the only face of America and I believe this person was stating just that. It is good to see America represented by an ethicincity that is a part of who America is. There is nothing wrong with that. Blondes, brunettes, red-heads, brown eyes, green, blue etc. It all represents us and the world should see the many differences of beauty that we have.

BUT I don't think she intellectually represents us best. I think her answers were juvenile and not articulate. She doesn't speak well for us. The way she answered the questions were horrible. Maybe she was nervous, IDK, but I wouldn't have put my money on her taking the crown away, BUT she did. Probably because of her beauty but surely not for her brains (based on how she answered questions).

Simply saying...if you look at these pageant's history, the majority of the winners are blonde and white...which is suppose to be so representative of the USA or if one is to say you're American...Since America is a nation of immigrants (wonderfully so), it's great that the pageants are catching up with the times and finally (even if it took so long)are selecting women of other ethnicities which is more reflective of America now...If the runner-up had won, who is blonde and white, then the victory would have been ho-hum....just another typical blonde to win the crown...But for an American of Middle Eastern descent to win...now that's a major surprise and a wonderful surprise overall...

I am from Michigan and was at the original theatrical viewing of "Throbbing Justice". It was the thesis film of one of the students at Motion Picture Institute of Michigan at their graduation film festival. And honestly, after three hours of pretentious "art house" films that barely count as movies, "Throbbing Justice" was by far the best film there. It was a parody of '80s action movies and the beefcake heroes of the era. I absolutely loved the movie. Miss America was really good in the film, and I'm glad she won.
