Memorial Day sightings: Brangelina on the beach, Kristen Stewart down under

Kristen stewart eclipse australia Celebs 'round the globe toasted the arrival of summer this weekend — including beach time for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner kicking off "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" press caravan.

Brangelina held court in swanky Malibu Colony, at the beach-front home of a friend. Pitt supervised his boys Pax and Maddox boogie boarding and kicking around in the surf while Jolie relaxed with a drink and magazine on the deck.

Another beach-bound pair, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, surfaced in Maui on Sunday. Recently freed from the "Transformers" franchise, Fox and her "90210" beau jetted to the island after attending the Southern California wedding of Ian Ziering on Friday.

In Las Vegas, single lady Jenny McCarthy took in a performance from R&B singer Shaggy at Pure nightclub, her fellow funny girlfriend Chelsea Handler in tow.

The young stars of "The Twilight Saga" worked through their holiday, as Monday saw Stewart and Lautner promoting the forthcoming "Eclipse" in Sydney, Australia. The two hit a photo call followed by a fan Q&A. While Stewart looked lovely in a yellow mini, her arrival the evening before wasn't so pleasant.

Snapped smoking and offering a certain hand gesture to photographers, Stewart was reportedly overwhelmed with the paparazzi's presence.
