Matthew Morrison on Jay Leno: starved for ab shoot; crushing on Michelle Obama

Matthew Morrison brought his wavy hair, goofy smile and good cheer to Jay Leno’s couch on Thursday evening.

As club moderator and unassuming ladies man on ‘Glee,’ Morrison has had a banner year -- the actor has signed a deal for his own album, met President Obama (multiple times) and even landed a sexy spread in Vogue magazine.

The shoot, with model Raquel Zimmerman, caused a sensation thanks to his washboard stomach, which Morrison says took a little sacrifice.

‘I look at that picture and see someone who is starving,’ he told Leno of the shot. ‘I had like 10 sloppy joes after that.’

Morrison, seated next to Leno’s previous guest, Katherine Heigl, also talked up his three visits to the White House in the last six months -- and his crush on Michelle Obama.

‘I think she’s a beautiful, stylish, powerful woman. Her beauty is not wasted on me.’

Jay’s insight?

‘You will not be getting a fourth visit.’
