Ashley Judd's husband wins the Indy 500
Ashley Judd turned in a spectacular performance Sunday afternoon, hanging tough through 500 miles of 200-mph-plus driving by husband Dario Franchitti -- the last bit perhaps on fumes -- and running like the wind down the pit road (in an adorable sundress, no less) to land a smooch or three on her milk-chugging man after he crossed the Indianapolis 500 finish line first.
Now, we're sure our friends over in the sports department would have a slightly different take on whose name should be in the headline, but this is our story, and we're stickin' to it.
Judd and Franchitti were married in December 2001.
Best wishes also to driver Mike Conway, who was injured during a spectacular crash near the end of the race, allowing Franchitti to cruise in under a caution flag.

I sure wish Ashley would start dressing properly in the pit lane. The sundress and sandals don't provide the protection needed in such a dangerous place. I know she's a big star and might think she's above the rules, but when fire breaks out or car parts start flying around, being a big star doesn't matter.
