Neil Patrick Harris' 'Rent' scores Vanessa Hudgens as star
Vanessa Hudgens has been tapped to star in the Neil Patrick Harris-directed production of "Rent" this summer at the Hollywood Bowl, Culture Monster reports.
The show will run only three nights, Aug. 6-8, and isn't the first of its kind at the Bowl -- last summer, Jessica Biel walked the boards there in "Guys and Dolls."
Hudgens and Harris costar in "Beastly," a "Beauty and the Beast" adaptation set to premiere July 30.
No other casting has been announced for "Rent." Still, how much more star power do you need to sell out three nights under the stars themselves?
