Star sightings: Paris Hilton's single style, James Cameron's Earth-conscious cocktails
Paris Hilton continues her single-gal party streak, attending a runway presentation Wednesday from Lebanese designer Gilbert A. Chagoury's line Chagoury Couture.
Hilton made the evening a family affair with sister Nicky and parents Rick and Kathy. After the 30-minute runway show, the hotel family hit Moet & Chandon's after-party with the likes of Kelly Rutherford, Perrey Reeves, Carla Gugino and pregnant "United States of Tara" writer Diablo Cody.
Speaking of television, NBC held its summer press day Monday in Pasadena. Nick Cannon, Sharon Osbourne, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott all showed face to support their peacock projects. The stars played croquet and horseshoes with the news media on the hotel grounds.
Fun and games abounded last weekend as well at the official celebration of Valerie Bertinelli's 50th birthday. Just days after completing the Boston Marathon, the Jenny Craig spokeswoman celebrated at the Los Angeles home of her manager with gal pals from her new show "Hot in Cleveland," including Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.
"Avatar" director James Cameron participated in a different holiday, hosting private cocktails in downtown L.A. for Earth Day and the launch of green-centric Home Tree Radio.
The filmmaker was joined by Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Grenier, Billy Zane and Michelle Rodriguez.
Also in L.A. this week: Lex Larson and Louie Rubio from the group Dr. Hollywood were hanging out at Musexpo with blogger Perez Hilton.
