Report: CNN host Larry King files for eighth divorce
Television host Larry King has filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Shawn Southwick, a new report says.
King cited "irreconcilable differences" as cause for the rift, a sentiment that Southwick echoed in response papers. The pair share two sons, Chance, 11, and Cannon, 9.
Southwick, a former actress, is now a part-time country singer. TMZ says she's claiming their family home in Beverly Hills as property separate from the marriage. King is requesting joint custody of the boys.
"It's a very sad day in Larry's life and he hopes the divorce will be amicable," said King's attorney Susan Carter.
Southwick is King's seventh wife, but it's King's eighth marriage because he wed and divorced the same woman (Alene Akins) twice.

Larry needs to stop marrying women he thinks are truly interested in him. It's all about fame and fortune with these gals.

How does he have a dime left..he should be homeless by now and mabye he needs to marry a blowup doll for at least the doll wont talk back and cheat on him..eight divorces is amazing and at his age, one would think that he can find happiness doing other things besides finding a woman to validate him. As for me, I spend eight hours sleeping, another eight hours trying to get out of bed, two hours eating, one hour in the bathroom and five more trying to clean up so I have no time for romance except to love myself.

Larry King I'm sure is more concerned about time with his beloved sons.
However nice to have a partner; in his case I believe it's his devotion to television with no compromise..does he need time with his family?
It's easy to compare age, nicer when there is money in the equation however I knew a 96 year old man that was incredibly exciting and a fantastic loving man. Sex was not in the picture and neither his millions..his spirit was infectious to all around him. Completely unique.
