Jenny McCarthy and her business partner, language pathologist Sarah Scheflen, have decided to close the Talk2Teach Academy, their school for autistic children, McCarthy’s rep told HollywoodLife on Friday.

The two ‘had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways,’ the rep said, adding that both intend to continue with this work.

The former Playboy Playmate co-founded the school -- which now also sells teaching tools and nutritional supplements -- in 2007 after her son Evan was diagnosed with autism. She converted the headquarters of Generation Rescue, her controversial autism organization, into what Time called ‘a state-of-the-art school for very young autistic kids.’

This on the heels of McCarthy’s split from Jim Carrey on Tuesday, and only six weeks after the birth of his grandchild, which she had anticipated with great eagerness.
