Elizabeth Taylor denies report of ninth engagement

Elizabeth Taylor on Monday nixed an Us Weekly report that she was getting engaged for the ninth time, taking to Twitter to clear the air.

‘The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren’t true,’ she wrote on her DameElizabeth verified account. ‘Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart.’

She’s referring to Jason Winters, co-founder of the Sterling/Winters Co.

This should be good news to Ministry readers, most of whom -- in comments -- weren’t in favor of another marriage for La Liz.
