Christina Applegate, musician Martyn LeNoble are engaged

Who knew Christina Applegate was nearly as sneaky as Diablo Cody? Turns out the actress and her musician boyfriend, Martyn LeNoble, got engaged this past Valentine’s Day but didn’t broadcast the news.

Applegate, whose credits include ‘Married ... With Children’ and more recently ‘Samantha Who?’, had a preventive double-mastectomy and reconstructive surgery in 2008 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She said she made that choice based on family history and a genetic test result.

LeNoble is a founding member of Porno for Pyros, a band that rose out of the ashes of Jane’s Addiction. Both have been married before; they’ve been dating for two years.

No date for a wedding is set yet, but if it were, why do we think they wouldn’t be telling us?
