Bret Michaels’ blood sodium level is low and that’s not great news, according to an update on his Facebook page. The news was categorized as a ‘minor setback’ for Michaels, who remains in an undisclosed hospital while he’s treated for bleeding in his brain.

Low blood sodium or hyponatremia, which can result in swelling of the brain and seizures, is not uncommon in people who’ve suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, as the rocker and reality TV star did Thursday night. People reports that he’s conscious, in critical but stable condition.

On the ‘Today’ show Tuesday, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ honcho Donald Trump said he couldn’t imagine that Michaels, a contestant, would be able to appear in the show’s final episode in four weeks. That reunion episode airs live.

‘I can’t imagine he’s going to be in the final,’ Trump said. ‘But knowing Bret, he might very well be. I just hope he makes it. Forget the show. He’s such a good guy.’
