Star sightings: Jennifer Garner's birthday party, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian hit Sin City
An afternoon of family fun was hosted at Garner and Ben Affleck's home, attended by pals Tobey Maguire and Jen Meyer with their daughter Ruby and Molly Sims and Jason Bateman with his tyke Francesca.
Affleck and brother Casey were out in Hollywood the night before, attending the annual Children Mending Hearts gala, which supports global children's charities. The Hollywood bros rubbed elbows with Meg Ryan, Marisa Tomei and Rosario Dawson.

Away from the festival and awards hoopla, MTV skateboarding star Rob Dyrdek threw the first pitch at an L.A. Dodgers game, where they faced the San Francisco Giants. Guitarist Slash jammed for the national anthem.
