Justin Bieber and the cast of ‘Glee’ weren’t the only attractions at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday -- there was a story time area as well, featuring the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Mariska Hargitay, Betty DeGeneres (that’s Ellen‘s mom) and, above, Olympic skater Apolo Ohno.

Ohno read ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ by Dr. Seuss (a Ministry favorite, right after the collected works of Stephen King, which probably would’ve been a bit heavy for this young audience, we realize). Is it just us, or do we see a few skating moves -- the angled stance, the arm sweep -- in his story-time delivery?

‘SVU’ star Hargitay gets our thumbs up for dramatic delivery on ‘Oh! The Places You’ll Go!’ even though Ohno pulled a larger crowd, including one little fellow named Sam.

The temperature on the ice ...

... is apparently a bit kinder than D.C. weather was Monday. In a dress shirt, dress pants and a vest, the skater commented on the heat, and Bieber tweeted his heat-related distress as well. Prepping to read from a Harry Potter book, author J.K. Rowling commented on how much hotter it was than her home country of Scotland.
Ohno took time to interact with the kids during the story -- pointing out moments where Sam tries new things or is persistent -- and when it was over, he kindly answered the most pressing question:

‘Yeah,’ Ohno said, ‘I could sign some stuff.’
