‘True Blood’ actor Alexander Skarsgard keeps giving the world a big ‘You’re welcome!’ by posing for gratuitously handsome magazine spreads.

The Swedish ‘It’ boy graces the cover of V Man magazine this month, rocking formal wear, considering the appeal of vampires and reminiscing on his starry adolescence.

‘Vampires symbolize immortality and sexuality,’ Skarsgard said. ‘All the experience and confidence they have draws you in -- it’s simultaneously comforting and dangerous. They can either be a protector or turn on you and ... kill you in one second.’ Skarsgard and his ‘True Blood’ costars recently graced the cover of Details in various stages of dewy undress.

One his earliest breaks in Sweden was at age 13 ...

... in the made-for-television ‘Hunden som log’ (a.k.a. ‘The Dog That Smiled.’) ‘I was suddenly different from my best friends, and I didn’t like the feeling,’ he said of the early fame.

‘If we would go out and play [soccer] and a girl would watch my friend, he would think it’s exciting ... but to me it started being like, ‘Oh ... she is staring ‘cause she watched that silly movie.’ ‘

Silly or not, imagine the stares he gets now.

‘True Blood’ will return for its third season June 13 on HBO, though fans can get a little taste through the month of May. Look for tons of bare-chested Skarsgard goodness, alongside Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten and Anna Paquin.
