PREACH IT! Spencer Pratt is either very patriotic, or very angry
Pratt, that shy violet and the husband of natural beauty Heidi Montag, claimed that he was quitting the reality show “The Hills” to pursue the life of a digital anti-terror warrior. The statement, which came via People magazine, indicated that Pratt was taking engineering classes at USC and that he would soon start working with a company called American Defense Enterprises.
Turns out, maybe, not so much.
Fox News “confirmed” that Pratt was in the early stages of a joint cyber-security venture with American Defense Enterprises. But Fox also reports that Pratt isn’t currently enrolled at USC and that there’s no indication he had any major relating to computers.
"He was enrolled from 2003 to 2009 pursuing a major in political science," USC spokesman James Grant told Fox. "I don't have a record of anything else."
Meanwhile, Us Weekly is poking holes in the rest of Pratt’s story.
"All of that stuff about him leaving 'The Hills' to fight cyber crime is not true," the insider told the magazine. In fact, the source insists, Pratt was forced off the show because he blew up at a producer on the set of the reality show.
"The show agreed that Spencer would leave ‘The Hills’ for six weeks to do anger management training once a week at home,” the source told Us. “If he completes it, he can return to the show."
Why do we get the distinct feeling that this story is far from over?
