PREACH IT! Miley Cyrus is so completely deeper than all of you
Miley Cyrus wants you to know that her mind is, like, way more profound than yours, and not just because she writes songs in her sleep. No, Miley and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are, in the words of the Disney TV actress, “both deeper than normal people -- what they think and how they feel.”
I know, right?
Anyway. In honor of her American treasure of a mind, we’ve assembled this list of Cyrus’ most cerebral and incisive thoughts over the years. Just don’t read them all at once. Your brain might implode from all the onslaught of depth.
"I cut the ribbon in Paris, and everyone in Paris speaks French — maybe you knew that."
"Hannah in the show is enormous, like a Hilary Duff of TV. I hope everyone really likes her. She's a great person!"
"The beach set of Hannah Montana is dirty, but it's kinda fun to feel like you're on the beach!"
"I'm a big shoe person. Sometimes I'll be punky, the next day I'll be preppy. Every day after work, my mom and I go shopping. My dad is about to kill me. I say, 'We need it, daddy!'"
"I love everything [Jessica Simpson] ever has on! Jessica can definitely come pick me up in her little Mercedes and take me shopping if she wants!"
"I have candy all the time. I live on gummy bears and peach rings. They're like dried-up peaches, only dipped in sugar. You can get 'em at gas stations. They're like 99 cents for four bags. And cashews. I love cashews."
"If I could get any animal, it would be a dolphin. I want one so bad. Me and my mom went swimming with dolphins, and I was like, 'How do we get one of those?' and she was like, 'You can't get a dolphin. What are you gonna do, like, put it in your pool?'"
"In general, I like guys who are musicians or into music like I am. I need a guy who's calmer than I am because I'm hyper and my mom tells me I need one who has a T-Mobile cell plan, like mine, so my phone bill won't be outrageous."

i dont think she meant it in a snobby way, people jus like to bash her at every opportunity, im actually really bored of it, its cruel n people need 2 back off n leave the girl alone coz its going too far now!
people only ever concentrate on the negitive n dont giv a seconds thought about the postive, thats why this world is so messed up!

He's young, he's cute...how long do you think he's going to be with her? And how many think he's with her because of her name and fame?

Wow, Liam needs a stylist! Looks like a pauper. Miley, can't you give him a buck or two to get a clean shave, a decent suit, shirt & tie. Even Dan Akroyd looked better in the Blues Brother movie than this dude does. I wonder if he has decent teeth; maybe not, cause he doesn't seem to smile a lot.

whoever you think you are need to get your facts straight. she didnt mean it in a snobby way and in NO WAY did she say that they were deeper. she is just like everyone else and by those quotes you have to be kidding that you think she is different. miley is amazing and liam is amazing also. if you dont like them then dont say anything.

If every dumb thing you've ever said were broadcast instantly around the world and put on permanent record on the web or some archive somewhere, chances are you'd come off as least as dorky as Miley. I said some wildly stupid things at that age, then I grew up. And I still come up with some zingers. I'm just so grateful they're not all over the internet within a minute.

I really try to not have a negative opinion of Miley. But, sometimes I really wish she would just shut up. I never go on what I read, this is basic on things I've seen her speak in interviews. The "she is still a teenager" excuse is not going to work forever. I don't dislike like her, I just feel she really need to pick and choose her moments to say certain things, this could help with people not taking her responds out of context.

If you're in the public spotlight, you reeeaaaalllly gotta be careful what you say. Miley should know this by now.
I'm so glad Miley has her pulse on how deeply "normal" people think and feel.
Come to think of it, there was a girl in college I knew - she had a crush on a friend of mine and asked, "Is he deep? Like, does he think and feel deep things? 'Cuz I don't want a 'Deepie'."
She actually said that.

Her first Teen Vogue, even this teen vogue interview, Her Glamor magazine and her Harper's Bazaar interview and even her last 17 Interview all have very nice quotes. It's more than apparent that this article was written to have a biased slant. Fair journalism and a simple google search would've shown simple insights into how in one interview she said that she wants to give people a chance to live their dreams just like she got to live hers.
or perhaps you could've mentioned her charitable organization www.geturgoodon.org
She's 17 years old and thinks she's mature, just like every other teenager. Give her a break.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL Miley Cyrus as a mensa candidate, do not think so! I am so sick of this talentless trailer trash idiot she and that "milk'a'holic" Lindsay Lohan should hold hands and JUMP! Please JUMP!

Miley is an absolute, total sweetheart. Maiden America. She will someday Rock the foundations of the earth. Believe it.

When I was a teenager I thought I was so deep and knew everything about the world. That's part of growing up, you think you know everything, then you realize you don't, the only difference is she is forced to go through this with cameras in her face and jerk writers like this one judging her every move!
And isn't about time people stopped being so negative about everything?

She's a kid. Teen angst is built on the theory that they are deeper than everyone else. Unique, special, more important etc...It's a horrible moment when we get to realize how little we know and for kids in the spotlight it must be even worse, because they have to eat those words publicly.
