Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning debut 'The Runaways' in Hollywood [pictures]
At the ArcLight Cinemas' famous Cinerama Dome, Stewart and Fanning were joined by Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, whom the starlets portrayed for director Floria Sigismondi.
Taylor Lautner surfaced, getting mobbed with questions about "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" on the red carpet before dipping into the screening.
Dave Grohl showed as well, munching on grilled cheese and swigging a beer as 1970s tracks from the original Runaways pumped over the speakers.

i was a teen age boy in 1976 i loved the runaways, then and now! its to bad that they didn't do this b.4. the untimely death of sandy west so that all 5 of the original girls/women could be their! can't wait to see the movie and see if it's any good, perhaps buy it on dvd and add it to my collection?? time will truly tell because they we're never given a fair chance,by the critics of that day, they we're just as good as heart as rockers and better than any girl group in the 1980s,i loved their first 2 albums they we're the best, the debut 1976 and queens of noise 1977,after the original line up was gone i wasn't interested in them anymore, but as far as curisity is concerened they have stood the test of time,as have many other bands from that timeframe....sincerly...tonylfriend....have a gay day....thanks....

just as good as any girl group of the 80's? Think agen. Don't learn how to spell, your intentional grammatical earthquakes are gigglerousers. So I thimk I'll go have some gigglesmoke (remember, the pamphlet in high school?) "Street names for: marijuana; 'pot', 'reefer', 'ganja', ""#$%gigglesmoke&^%$*"yeah, I remember once a dude calling it that, it was back in Tuscaloosa in '73...
