Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt take the gang for an Italian playdate with Johnny Depp's family

Talk about mixing work with play -- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took a hefty portion of their brood to the Venice home of her new costar Johnny Depp (and his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis) for a playdate with Depp's two little darlings.

In the Italian city to film the thriller "The Tourist," Jolie and Depp were bound to get their A-list babies -- or at least most of them -- in one room. Depp's 10-year-old, Lily Rose, and Jack, 7, came face to face with Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh on Sunday.

Shiloh continues to generate wee fashion excitement with her original ensembles. Clad in a ski cap decorated with skulls and crossbones, the tyke brought in a Western motif with a leather gun holster.

Though we imagine playtime was memorable, the famous moms and dads went right back to work Monday morning. Depp flew to Tokyo, where he was on hand for the Japanese premiere of his massively successful "Alice in Wonderland."

Angelina is such an enigma, love her or hate her, just can't get enough. She has an undeniable beauty, incredible sex appeal, above average intellect and courage to tackle the global issues of hunger, poverty and war..from the ground, not just a paycheck, she walks through war zones, disease infested villages, so often without the public knowing. Can't you'all talk about Angelina without bringing up Brad's exes. For Angelina fans, no comment on the exes is the best comment, their celebrity status is fuelled by the interest shown on sites like this one.

Just read comments about Angie not having female friends. That's completely false. To name a few: Diane Sawyer, Marianne Pearl, Suraya Pakzad, Dr. Tara Bishop -- powerful women who do not waste their time with frivolities. These women care to make a difference in this world and Angie joins them in their causes. True, she does not have Hollywood female friends, but she's more magnanimous than that. There's so much to do in this world, she cannot be bogged down by the shallowness of tinsel town.
Angie also had her mom, Marchelline as her best friend. Now who needs female friends when you have your sweetest mother as your best friend? Some may disagree with this, but you're entitled to your opinion.
Angie also has her hands full with her UNCHR duties, other charity work, her career, and her family life. She does not have the luxury of time to party in Cabo when she can be visiting an orphanage or a refugee camp.
Angie has normal and ordinary friends who are not from Hollywood. I'm one of them.
