We caught up with Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am on the red carpet between the pre-televised ceremony and the evening’s main event.

The band had already picked up three awards, lost in one category and was up for two more -- record of the year for ‘I Gotta Feeling’ and album of the year for ‘The E.N.D.’
