Tyra Banks wants to see you in a bikini, fierce ladies

Tyra Banks is soliciting pics online from women who want to be ‘America’s Next Top Model’ but don’t want to hassle with those long lines to audition in person for cycle 15 of the show.
Hey, what could go wrong!
Banks is asking for four pics per person from ‘the Fiercely Real (ya know, plus sized) to the ‘straight’ (skinny) models, just doin’ your thang.’ Applicants also must be 18 to 27 (18 by the time the show starts shooting ‘which is in a couple of weeks,’ she says) and at least 5 feet 7 inches tall. The four bikini pics should be: head to toe, from the waist up, from the shoulders up, and a three-quarters profile.

Judging by the comments on our ‘Glee’-wants-you-to-audition post, aspiring models might consider the ‘Ya just gotta be 5’7’ and over’ rule up for interpretation. After all, the phrase ‘you must be 16 to 26’ was extremely confusing for aspiring actor-singers who are not yet 16; we imagine the height requirement will be similarly challenging for aspiring models who are not yet tall.
(Hey, Fox, what’s up with the ‘Glee’ auditions, anyway? By our calendar, February ends soon -- though we see that you’ve deleted the February reference from your official audition info page. Hm.)
You do have to apply by midnight EST on March 30. And you have to read this, which actually includes more requirements.
Tyra says she’ll review all the pics -- which of course will include nothing but 18-to-27-year-old female citizens who are 5-foot-7 or taller, in bathing suits -- and pick a winner to join the cast of the 15th cycle.
The Ministry is going to make it clear right now -- we have nothing to do with the ‘ANTM’ auditions. We have no further information about the online submissions or about traditional auditions for the show’s cycle 15. We don’t want you to send us pics of you in a bikini. And if you’re not tall enough to make Tyra’s cut, thanks for sharing that in comments, but we cannot help you. We do, however, reserve the right to make merciless fun of your reading comprehension skills if you ask us about any of this.
