Peter Facinelli to sign autographs in SoCal as UNICEF, Haiti fundraiser
Peter Facinelli, a.k.a. Dr. Carlisle Cullen of "The Twilight Saga," is heading to Rancho Cucamonga on Feb. 21 to sign autographs and pose for pics to raise money for UNICEF's Haiti relief efforts.
Facinelli also gave his stamp of approval recently to Twihards4Charity, which aims to harness the power of "Twilight" fans for a good cause. According to PopEater, Kristen Stewart, who's already helped on her own with Haiti fundraising, and Robert Pattinson, who took part in the Hope for Haiti telethon, are "set to help with the cause" in coming months.
Pics with Facinelli, who also stars in "Nurse Jackie" on Showtime, will be $40 a pop and autographs are $25; a portion of proceeds will go to UNICEF. Lifestream will conduct a blood drive, and there will be a live radio remote by KGGI-99.1/FM. (Psst: 20 winners of a KGGI contest will get a VIP meet-and-greet with Peter in advance of the noon-to-6 p.m. event, held at Victoria Gardens' AMC Courtyard.)
(Is it me, or was there just a collective Facinelli-fan fist-bump out in the I.E.?)
