'Boston Legal' actor Justin Mentell dies in car crash at 27
Justin Mentell, a 27-year-old actor on "Boston Legal" and CGI kids flick "G-Force," was found dead in Wisconsin on Monday morning.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Mentell's Jeep went down a steep embankment near local Highway 39, where it crashed into two trees. The accident was reported before 9 a.m., with reports indicating Mentell was not wearing a seat belt.
"I'm deeply saddened," Mentell's "Boston" co-star William Shatner shared on Twitter, "...there’s no telling how far up the ladder he may have climbed. My sympathies to his family."
Mentell played lawyer Garrett Wells on the popular ABC show, which aired its fifth and final season in 2008.
