'Bachelor' host Chris Harrison says of booted contestant Rozlyn Papa: 'Bless her heart'

Harrisons Chris Harrison, host of "The Bachelor," seems to have a pretty good attitude toward ousted contestant Rozlyn Papa -- even after her accusation that he'd engaged in some inappropriate behavior of his own.

Papa was dismissed from the reality TV show after allegations that she'd had an "inappropriate relationship" with a producer, who also was fired. Papa maintains the allegations are untrue. And on Monday night's tell-all reunion show, nobody was letting anything go.

On the reunion episode -- for which Gwen Harrison, the host's wife of 16 years, was in the audience -- Papa accused the host of hitting on the fired producer's wife in New Zealand. (Whether the producer in question is married or has a girlfriend, or was married or had a girlfriend, is a matter of Internet speculation that we're not going to attempt to unravel. His name's out there, but we don't trust any of the stories quite enough to link to them.)

Harrison talked about Papa's dismissal with the hosts of "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday, saying, "she's continued to deny it, even though the producer himself has confessed multiple times and the women saw eyewitness accounts of exactly what happened, but bless her heart. ..."

"One thing she does," Harrison said of Papa, "her defense mechanism is she'll throw out an attack or she'll use her son as a human shield or, at one point last night she swore on her son's life, which as a parent, as soon as she said that, I was like, wow, this interview is over."

Harrison said his wife laughed it off -- they've been together since they were 18, he said, and "she knows it's business."

Maybe finding true love in high school is a better bet than trying to find it on reality TV.

Is it me or is there something very wrong about the entire device of this programme? Something terribly "icky" to me about one man snogging/shagging 25 women as they all sit around waiting their turn.

Caught part of that bit last evening with Chris whatsit humiliating several of those girls. They must pay them large sums for this? Else why would anyone subject themselves? Can the desire to see one's face on telly override every other protective instinct?

Nauseating.

@GinaNYC -- CDZ here! Um, yeahhhhh ... the whole "waiting their turn" aspect is icky to me too. I just ... eyew.
