A single Rihanna will go to the Grammys alone (Do 13 tattoos count as a date?)
Rihanna will be going to the Grammys alone this year, but she says that's no surprise: "Even when I was in a relationship, I always have gone alone," she told L.A. radio station 104.3 FM this week.
Her Cabo San Lucas vacation with Dodger Matt Kemp "was a blast," she said, but -- she's still single.
The singer, who performed for the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon a week ago, also sat with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview that will air Monday. The big reveal there? Rihanna is now up to 13 tattoos. The most recent: "Never a failure always a lesson." On her chest. In reverse type.
So she can read it in the mirror.
You can see it easily in Ri's appearance on Ellen's show, given the neckline of the rather exuberant dress she chose. And we expect we'll be seeing it again in the future.
Rihanna, whose Grammy appearance last year had to be canceled, is nominated this year with Jay-Z and Kanye West in the best sung/rap collaboration category for "Run This Town." Click here for a full list of nominees.
