Andy Dick arrested. Again. While still on probation.
Comedian Andy Dick is out on bail after his arrest early this morning in West Virginia on two counts of felony sexual abuse. He is accused of grabbing the crotch of a bouncer at the Rum Runners bar in Huntington.
The managing partner of the Funny Bone Comedy Club, which had hired Dick, posted the comic's $60,000 bail -- and surprise, Andy's "absolutely still on the schedule for Saturday and Sunday."
Such a shock this is, given Andy's choir-boy past.
The alcohol-monitoring bracelet he got in 2008 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery and pot possession -- related to the incident in which he allegedly pulled down a 17-year-old girl's tank top at a chicken wings restaurant -- was due to come off in October 2009. The probation? That wasn't due to come off for three years after the plea.
So many more things we could say here. But we won't.
If you comment, please don't cuss or we can't publish.
[For the record, 5:25 p.m., Jan. 24: A previous version of this post incorrectly called the West Virginia comedy club the Lucky Bone. It is the Funny Bone. Thanks to commenter Huntington Fact Checker for the catch./cdz]

Photo: Isn't this 2004 pic of Andy Dick just super-wacky? Like, that gag with the glasses and all? Isn't he about the funniest thing you've ever seen? Like, in the history of ever? Oh, wait, you're probably sober right now. Never mind. Credit: www.underhillphotography.com.

ya know ... if th dude goes to jail it will be a blessing ...for him. why? because obviously he is self destructive and would be a matter of time before he would have done something completely destructive.
maybe through ...some kinda of treatment he can address his apparently many issues ... maybe

Paris Hilton went to jail and this idiot is still walking the street?

Is he trying for that NYC TV comedy post, where you hit on all your production staff, whether they - or the NETWORK - like it or NOT?

He grabbed a bouncer's crotch!!?? And why didn't the bouncer tear Mr. Dick's miserable little head off his shoulders?
This will of course do wonders for Mr. Dick's reality television career ... since notoriety is a bigger selling point in that genre than talent is.

Felony sexual abuse? You can beat a person severly and at worst it's only a misdemeanor. Some muscle-bound bouncer gets touched in a place he doesn't like and that's a felony?
If a victim kicks a rapist in the nuts, are they suddenly a felon now too? Probably not. I think this is a case of West Virginians not liking any of that funny homer-seckshural stuff.
Seriously, if that's a felony, then about 3/4ths of the dance floor at just about any club on a Friday night should be in jail.

The jerk is a complete waste of skin, hope the bouncer punch his light out.

Andy Dick is the kid in school who tried to make us laugh so that we saw something good in him. He couldn't throw a football or balance an equation, so he did idiotic things. For that, we should kick him. Then, kick him again until he falls. Then, kick again and again. Feel better now? Who's the jerk? If we can give millions to Haiti, we can learn to donate a little compassion to others, or can we?

There is obviously something going on in this guy's life that needs serious attention. I hope the courts get tough with him and force him to address his person issues which are causing him to violate other's sexually. Get well Andy!

Maybe Jail time will show him the importance of the term "consequences" for his actions. Too bad his mother and father never taught him better.

Circling the drain. Only a matter of time.

Well... Bummer.. This is a big bummer and a time consuming one too.
Worked with Mr. Dick on the remake of "Get Smart" many years ago. Back then I had hoped I would never see him again ever. Thanks Andy, I guess this is it.

A big, mean bouncer files CHARGES? C'mon already! Sure, Andy is a walking disaster but wasn't there some other response to it than arrest?
Bouncers are notorious for inflicting far worse and it's ignored...

Ben Stiller's "Zoolander" has been on the movie channels for the last couple of days. Olga the Masseuse? With the boil on her forehead and the tremendous double chin? That's Andy Dick under all that makeup. Dude is funny.

Hey all, Christie D'Z here from the blog ... Gentle reminder: I'm not going to publish anything with profanity, or any comments wishing physical harm to Andy Dick.
Also, no more jokes about the guy's last name. Not that they don't crack me up, (they do, because deep inside I'm a junior high school boy), but ... enough.
@David -- Re your comment about why a celebrity behaving badly is news? This is the celebrity gossip blog. It's sorta what we do here.
:)

They're all deperate for constant attention. And they're paid quite well to do it. Offstage, Clooney plays the humanitarian, Dick plays the disturbed jester.
Let's see, how can they be the center of attetion using dead Haitians?
Did you send those billionaires your money for Haiti? Not me, I don't give money to rich people no matter how much they beg.

I liked Andy Dick in "News Radio," but that's about it.
Frankly, I still think Jon Lovitz was right to be down on him over Andy Dick helping Phil Hartman's wife off the coke wagon.
In conclusion, can we stop paying attention to this guy? Or maybe recognize that his cry for help is a clear sign he wants to be in prison for some reason.

Have bouncers become so delicate that they call the police when someone grabs their crotch? I thought the correct response would be to BOUNCE anyone who pulls something like that. This illustrates the over-legalization of everything. Some guy grabs your crotch, don't dial 9-1-1, PUNCH HIM.

His last name says it all.....he is certainly living up to it!

The bouncers saw a famous person and an oppurtunity! Now they will be able to sue him, sell their story and get rich out of the deal.

@Fred Jones -- Christie here again. To answer your unpublished question, as this is not the Health section blog, I think I have to refrain from publishing anything that might resemble an ad for Summer's Eve products.

Do you have any idea how boring these stories are? Nobody cares about a jerk like Andy Dick, or any of the other second-rate "celebrities" who can't get their lives together. What a waste of news space.
