PREACH IT! Meet the ladies of the Tiger Woods scandal

It has been brought to my attention that maybe the media is being a little unfair with this whole Tiger Woods-and-his-harem-of-strumpets angle. Per certain columnists, this angle is sexist, because Tiger Woods gets to stay Tiger Woods, the troubled mega-billionaire athlete, while the ladies remain mere one-sided flakes, assigned to one-word descriptors such as “model” or “waitress.”

“In the same way that the man in this tabloid drama gets the benefit of ad nauseam motivational dissection, so should the women,” Robin Givhan of the Washington Post intoned this week.

She is right. The lopsided coverage has been absolutely unjust. Tiger may be the only famous person in this story, and the only character in this drama that any celebrity gossip connoisseur or golf fan really cares all that much about, and the whole point of all of these hundreds of stories about a self-described family guy who turned out to be a ginormous liar, but these anonymous waitresses and models are people, dang it. It is my duty, if you’ll allow, to flesh them out and bring you all the information out there about them.

Because if there’s one thing I’m sure you’ve been wondering over the last few weeks, it’s, “Just what is Jaimee Grubbs' stance on cap and trade?”

Regardless of whether discriminitation is involved Tiger made his bed and has to lie in it. I don't care if they are black or white sluts. He needs some serious help! Let this be a lesson to all that CHEATING destroys you and your family. It only brings sorrow and pain. This is only the beginning too. Tiger and his wife had 2 beautiful children together. They will be the biggest victims of all. I am praying for Tiger and his family. That is what they need because nobody in this world is PERFECT. But, all are deserving of forgiveness.

The problem is medialoid (defined as the infiltration of tabloid journalism into traditional media sources, including the proliferation of sensationalism, triviality and disregard for privacy, with particular emphasis on news coverage of the sports and entertainment industries. Medialoid thinks they make the rules by which society must live. They think they define what is and is not free speech. They have no morals, no decency and no shame. What we have is not qualified reporters reporting on newsworthy topics but packs of bloodthirsty jackals always on the prowl for their next victim. They hide behind the First Amendment while they tear down society by pandering to humankind's basest instincts. From their presumed position as the final arbiters of what people should think and what they should be thinking about, they smell blood in the water and circle the victim like a bunch of braying hyenas. I hope you're all proud of yourselves. Michael Jackson…now Tiger Woods. Tiger isn't the one who should be ashamed—except before his wife. Medialoid should be ashamed for the disreputable way they behave when a high profile personality stumbles. Ugh. I hate the media. You all make me sick.

All these girls talk about is money. Tiger paid me, Tiger did not pay me. Yada Yada. Look tell these girls, you want to tell your story then fly in on your own dime and tell it then go home on your own dime. They are all about money. While the media is grilling these girls ask them about Tiger giving them monthly payments. Make sure there is an I.R.S. guy behind a closed door listening in while they talk plus a transcript. These girls may owe the United States government some back taxes on that money or did they file that on there tax returns under gifts?

To be blunt - Robin Givhan's article was a joke. These women aren't the victims of classism, sexism or any other "ism". They are attractive young women who knew exactly what they were doing. Is this what feminism has come to - portraying "exotic dancers", porn stars and party girls who sleep with rich, famous married men as victims? Maybe I'm just a cranky old-school feminist but I don't get it. I personally haven't heard anyone making excuses for Wood's behavior. This isn't a guy who cheated on his wife a couple of times in a moment of weakness - he's a serial cheater who should have never married in the first place. And these women aren't victims of a society that offered them no other means of advancing themselves other than exploiting their sexuality and sleeping with famous men. What ever happened to holding people - men and women alike - responsible for their actions?

Its people like you who make me feel both scared and unbelievably lucky. Scared, because there are too many stupid people like you out there, and its also people like you who destroy this beautiful world.
Unbelievably lucky, because I live in the greatest country ‘Australia’, and why is it the greatest you ask? , because we do not see black and white, we will joke about it, but nothing is made of it. For your knowledge, I play AFL (Aussie Rules Football), probably theehardest and quickest sport in the world, we don’t wear your padding and headgear. But in our spare time, we play Golf. Because it is the most skillfull, unpredictabe sport in the world. It takes brains, patience, physical strength and mental strength. There are so many variables in the game of golf, and probably too many for your tiny brain to handle. A person who hasn’t got the mental strength and the intelligence to judge distance, power, spin, natural obstacles is probably going to call Golf a sport for panzies.

It is also people like you who bring Champions down, and I mean Champions. Tiger is the greatest Golf player in the world, who didn’t choose for the world to love him, he just does what he does best, and us pathetic low life people follow his every move. So how about you remember the great man as the great golfer he is, and go about you own life. Because I bet you’ve got you own issues your hiding. God help the next birth of a legend, because there is only one outcome, us average people will bring them down.

Those 2 kids stuck with a Daddy who gets paid big money to golf and turns around and pays lip service to Marriage. Tiger is a hypocrite. Elin took a chance marrying him, don't we all? Hopefully 2010 will be more sports stories about pro athletes helping those who need it. Tiger did start his foundation to help kids improve their education. He's not a total scumbag, just 99%.
