Nancy O’Dell, the entertainment reporter who has been a part of ‘Access Hollywood’ since it premiered in 1996, is taking a bow and leaving the show.

She’ll still host NBC’s coverage of the Tournament of Roses parade on New Year’s Day, she told the Associated Press, but will wrap up work on ‘Access’ this week.

Her publicist says only that O’Dell is pursuing a new opportunity.
In addition to ‘Access,’ O’Dell has played a reporter on several TV shows. She’s also written a book about pregnancy and appeared as a contestant on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ until she was sidelined by an injury.
