VIDEO: Kate Hudson counts tampons, Goldfish on her pre-Oscars checklist

Kate(2)Behind-the-scenes video of Kate Hudson's lovely Harper's Bazaar shoot has surfaced, and the bubbly blond has revealed some, ahem, unconventional award show habits.

Hudson had a hand in imagining her spread for the fashion mag, where she was interested in seeing haute couture and expensive jewels in settings like gas stations and convenience stores.

"I've definitely had that moment when there are emergencies and you're going somewhere, and you're running into 7Eleven ... you grab some tampons and Goldfish and you go to the Oscars," Hudson said.

Aside from sporting bridal and spring couture on the glossy pages, Hudson says she looks forward to getting back to work in 2010 after taking a year off to be a mom (and to take gentle, delicate, loving care of her boyfriend, New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez).

Hudson is slinking into theaters with a few other sexy costars, including Nicole Kidman and Penélope Cruz, in the Weinstein Co.'s "Nine."
