Famous for playing the voluptuous Joan on "Mad Men," Hendricks spread her holiday cheer to close pals on Saturday, along with fiance Geoffrey Arend, at their downtown Los Angeles pad. John Hamm, Neil Patrick Harris, Marisa Tomei, Sandra Oh and show producer Matthew Weiner enjoyed Corzo tequila pumpkin spice cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from Harris' boyfriend David Burtka, the featured chef.
"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane is never outdone when it comes to celebrating, and the holiday season is no exception. Also on Saturday, the funnyman and Night Vision entertainment hosted a Winter Wonderland bash at his home. The likes of Ryan Phillippe, Paris Hilton, Zach Braff and "True Blood" shape-shifter Sam Trammel dropped by.
As usual, MacFarlane employed a full orchestra to back him up as he sang to guests. Mark Salling from "Glee" was in attendance, though he wasn't belting out. He was using his pipes to chat up SC Johnson heiress Samantha Marq.
At the same time in Miami, a private dinner was held for Armani Exchange's "Cool Shades of Style," where a reportedly single Alex Rodriguez was partying it up with actors and models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Katie Cassidy and Kelly Osbourne.
Also over the weekend, reality gal Audrina Patridge hit L.A. radio station KROQ's Acoustic Christmas concert, where she chatted with girlfriends over Ketel One backstage in The Very Very Green Room.
Another music fan, hottie Ryan Gosling hit managing partner Jason Scoppa's Bardot Hollywood, where he and pal Zach Shields' untied front Dead Man's Bones played DJ for the evening, with the help of installation artist Joshua Allen Harris.
Thursday was another major party night, with a deeply fashionable bash for designer Roland Mouret. Toasting his successful RM collection at Chateau Marmont were such beauties as Demi Moore, Heidi Klum, Amber Valletta and Rachel Zoe.
A little ways away in West Hollywood, Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Nicole Murphy debuted her jewelry collection at boutique Church, with the help of footballer Michael Strahan.
This is a lot -- a lot -- of partying. Kelly Clarkson, however, kept her week low-key. The "American Idol" singer passed on her cocktail dress and instead pitched in washing clothes for Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans. A part of Tide laundry detergent's Loads of Hope program, Clarkson traveled through the rebuilding city with a mobile laundromat, helping out folks without access to the necessity.
