Amy Winehouse's ex-husband says he's also going to be her next husband

December 19, 2009 |  2:54 pm

Amy Blake Fielder-Civil has told a London paper that he and his ex-wife, Amy Winehouse, are engaged to be married.

The former music video assistant says the soul singer is the love of his life, and that they got divorced only because of pressure from parents.

Maybe it truly was a 36-hour secret love fest for them back in early December, when reports first had them getting back together.

"Don't believe everything you read," the singer's dad said on Twitter at the time. The two, whose divorce was final about four months ago, were just catching up, he said. Mitch Winehouse blames Blake for introducing Amy to drugs. Looks as if dad's taking a break from Twitter right now though -- we can't imagine why

Amy had her own Twitter and Facebook fit about Blake on Monday, apparently trying to quell rumors that she'd visited him at his rehab facility in Sheffield, Britain, because he'd threatened suicide. She says he threatened no such thing.

The singer's goddaughter and protege, teen soul sensation Dionne Bromfield, said last week that her mentor had gone out there to call things off, and that the two wouldn't remarry.

Um, call what things off?

Now Blake's mom says they'll be married as soon as her son is done with rehab.

So many contradictions.

As a reminder of why we might care, the Ministry has included a funky acoustic take on her tune "Rehab," below.
