POLL: Adam Lambert's AMA performance: Provocative or porn?
Holy cannoli, the Ministry of Gossip's comments are going wild over Adam Lambert's, ahem, unique performance of his tune "For Your Entertainment" on the 2009 American Music Awards.
Folks are either "What the??" or "Oh yeah!"
So the Ministry's Division of Absolutely Accurate Online Statistics is jumping into research mode.
What did you think of the number, which aired on prime-time network TV? If you didn't see it,and if the younger kids aren't still around, you might want to buckle your seat belt before voting and watch the video of the performance -- after the jump.

Granted the sound was off tonight, but I love Adam's performance!! Yes, its raunchy and wild and sexy and full of SEX... but all the more reason to LOVE IT! :P
What has Adam done that has not been done by Madonna and Britney?? Its really not as crazy or wild a performance IMO (maybe it is for America, I don't know)
Things I wish were different
- Adam wearing MUCH LESS
- Adam singing with no bump notes
- Adam not tripping (I'm worried - did he hurt himeself?)
- the band, backup singers and Adam having more cohesion as a whole
Things I LOVE
- Adam's singing (still great.. beginning and the end)
- Adam looking GREAT!!
- Adam recovering from that trip beautifully - heck I didn't realise it was a trip till my third view
- Adam's SEXINESS and SEX thruout!!
- that final LIP LOCK - HOT HOT HOT!!
- PLUS... everyone is talking about ADAM tonight and tomorrow and NOT the winners LOL *wink*

I am still rolling on the floor laughing with glee.
The vocals were kind of a hot mess (for the whole night, not just Adam), but LOL, who cares. It was good times.
(Also, the bassist is v v cute. /shallow)

I was such an Adam Lambert fan until tonight. Tonight, I was embarrassed for him. Adam you are so much better than that! I can only hope this is a blip in your career.

omg. get over it! Brittany Spears does the same, if not worse on stage. What's the difference???? There was probably a better performance in him, but I'm pretty sure he's the SINGER, not the CHOREOGRAPHER.

It is too bad he fell but that wasn't the problem - It was way, way,way, over the top and self indulgent!!! - but that wasn't the problem. It was just plain, a bad, bad, performance, and I made my family watch. Oh, Adam, I think you need to look at this performance a hundred times to see what you did wrong. Are you believing you own hype??? or did you just get so nervous you blew it. I still believe in your talent, but, YOU, need to back up and start over, or something, I am not sure how you fix this, but I think you forgot about the audience and just went for shock value. You are just plain too good for that!!! STOP! IT!!!

lighten up people, this is all entertainment. I loved it! It was hot!! and this is what he wanted to do from the begining, theatricality is in his gene. I loved it! it was the bomb of the night....best of the night were Lambert and Gaga....woot!

You know that part where he has a mirrored door so folks can see their own look of shock and horror? Well some folks posting on here need to check themselves for phoniness...if this performance is causing to not pick up his CD, baloney, ya weren't gonna! His vocals were off and the performance was way over the top...but that's Adam! Remember Janet Jackson's video for "If" where she plays with a dancer's head while it's in front of her crotch? How was Adam any worse than that? Oh, wait...it's cuz he did it with a guy! Hypocrites...his number was far from perfect, but it was better than most of the safe, tedious performances I fast forwarded through...

This was so inappropriate for television that I don't even know where to begin. Brittany's antics often are too! But what I can't get past is why anyone likes to hear Adam Lambert sing. He just sounds like he is screeching the entire time to me. I agree with the other poster - I can't wait until his 15 minutes are up.

you have amazing vocals adam that is what everyone wants to hear. You do not need to prove anything you just need to sing. I think that alot of fans will be so surprised by the AMA's becasue it is not the rock or ballad singing we fell in love with.The fans want to just hear you sing.

disgusting. I followed him on Idol, but this was just stupid. And did you see him give the audience the finger? Wow. It would have been better had he been on key and not resorted to wailing like a cat in heat when the song appeared out of control. And the crotch fingering- totally uncool. I give this performance a big fat FAIL.

This guy is so current and his music is full of messages. He definately gave it to us until we screamed his name. By tomorrow morning everyone will be talking about Adam Lambert. What a ride and yes I was very entertained. I can't wait to see and hear what Adam Lambert does next. Holy cow I can't wait to see the music video to this song it is going to be wicked! Adam Lambert sure does like to push buttons and make you open your mind up. Take him or leave him the guy sure does stand out. Love him!!!!
