The King of Pop’s final costume change cost $35,000 -- crazy high, but also probably to be expected from Michael Jackson, a man whose never-shy personal style influenced the masses whether the masses liked it or not.

The funeral as a whole cost $1.09 million, according to court documents unsealed today and reviewed by the Los Angeles Times. Most of the money went to Forest Lawn for various expenses.

Another detail: The bill for flowers came in at $16,000. Of course, that doesn’t count the myriad bouquets fans left worldwide.

Remember, these costs were for the private family funeral, not the larger, showier public memorial service at Staples Center.

That event cost the city of Los Angeles just a touch more.
