Lady Gaga brings ‘Gossip Girl’ some ‘Bad Romance’

Back in the innocent days of network TV, just before the turn of the century, it wasn’t unusual for the likes of Christina Aguilera to rock the Peach Pit After Dark on Fox’s ‘Beverly Hills, 90210,’ or for Dishwalla to suddenly to headline (and provide a key plot point) at the P3 nightclub on the WB’s ‘Charmed.’
Now, People magazine reports, the CW is dancing in the same pop-star footsteps, with Blair (Leighton Meester) of ‘Gossip Girl’ booking Lady Gaga for a private concert, at which Gaga will perform her new single, ‘Bad Romance.’
It’s comforting to know that if Gaga drops another four-letter bomb, like she did on ‘Saturday Night Live’ earlier this month, the ‘Gossip Girl’ gang can just edit that puppy out ahead of time.
Or better yet, use it in their next ad campaign.
