Look, it’s her idea, not ours! On a special Q&A ‘You Ask, Kate Answers’ segment on ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ on Monday night, Kate Gosselin discussed her thoughts on remarriage, future job prospects and more.

On remarriage: No. Or no for now. Or maybe not ever. She doesn’t want to be married. But she doesn’t want to be alone. A phrase that crossed our path yesterday comes to mind: Maybe she’d be happy if she just ‘shared an alarm clock’ with someone, someday.

On her career: ‘I’d love to be in a movie at some point,’ she says. ‘I would love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.’ (You know, we can see that.)

E! Online has a good transcript-ish thingy rounding up Kate’s thoughts on Patrick Dempsey, how she manages to take care of the kids, whether there’s money stashed for the kids and how she thinks she looks these days.

And, hey, you ask, isn’t the show ‘Kate Plus 8’ now? A girl can dream. But you know how the divorce process goes -- if you’ve changed your name, it takes a while to get it changed back. ‘Kate Plus 8’ is still the plan.
