Extended Stay: Really clean or super dirty?

Before I give any of this away, maybe you should watch the entire video first and meet me after the jump. Nobody likes spoilers, and this video sorta speaks for itself...

OK so apparently that was a little bit of viral video for Extended Stay hotels. The questions that arise as one watch this are plentiful. Here's my short list

- Did the actress oversee the cleaning of this room before she shot the spot?
- Does the chain really believe that all of their rooms would pass the white glove test, let alone the sexy tongue test?
- Why on God's green earth would she lick the flat screen tv?
- Why didn't she lick the door handle inside the room?
- But are the towels clean?
- Would the CEO of Extended Stay lick all of those things in a random room at a random property of his?
- Where is the disclaimer saying "test track, closed course, professional licker, don't actually try this"?
- And finally, from the comments of Boing Boing, "Notice that her hair, which falls in the bowl, is still dry when she raises her head. That leads me to believe that it is a new, never used model that is just a prop".

Either way, pretty hot, sorta dirty, all while trying to convince us that motel rooms should be clean but probably aren't as clean as we would want them to be.

It's a real hotel room. i worked for that company for many years before leaving this summer. ESH didn't have extra rooms they just used as production models. That girl made $25K for that bit. And believe me, that room was cleaned within in inch of its life.

That girl did not get paid $25K. It is; however, a real room with props and new furnishings. This is a viral campaign folks. An entire budget for a production like this is lucky to be over $20K. Get your facts straight.

I clean hotel rooms as a living and after seeing the kind of stuff I have, there is no way I would lick any object in a hotel room no matter how well cleaned it had been.

I have stayed in extended stay rooms and they were always very very clean.

Every Extended Stay that I've ever had the misfortune staying at were extremely dirty, stains on pillows, mattresses, etc. Go to one of the extended stay's here in the bay area in Cali and try that... you'd probably contract every disease known to man. The motel 6's are cleaner. I think I threw up in my mouth a little after watching that.. Simply gross.
