Why don't you just get yourself a little something...something?

Somethinggrids

Now you can, at the Something Store. A new online store where you give them $10 dollars and they send you something. Something will be an item selected randomly from their inventory, and you will find out what your something is when you receive it. I love mystery boxes. "Hold on a minute Lois; a boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything!  It could even be a boat! You know how much we wanted one of those!"

Well, if any of you get a boat for ten dollars, you let me know and then take me for a ride. [ Something Store ]

Intriguing. Too bad they contradict themselves. They mention "a set of kitchen knives" as a possible something, but in their list of stuff they won't ship:

"Weapons
Firearms, ammunition, knives, brass knuckles, gun parts, and other armaments"

So kitchen knives can't be used as weapons? Then they aren't very good knives then.

damin:

That list is meant to preempt any concerns of materials which are illegal to ship over state lines. It's basically a long list of any interstate shipping laws. There is probably a law against weapons, and knives are included in that list, but cooking utensils are probably excluded (implicitly or explicitly) in that state's law.

I actually like surprisefromsanta.com. Santa sends SURPRISE gifts all year long. I loved my gift. Not just because it was 14k gold earrings but because It was packaged nicely. As Santa says he sends it with love. It really made my day. Plus they receive donations from organzations and other caring people to enhance and uplift spirits. Some companies donate items like video games, dvd's, boardgames, toys. etc. So I think you luck of getting something of value is much better here.

Christie St. Martin
Christie St. Martin was born in Bermuda and educated at two Canadian universities that would prefer not to be mentioned here until she supplies them with healthy building endowments. An uber-geek and proud of it, she established herself as an Internet presence with All Things Christie, a blog that managed, with its quirky and unabashedly self-indulgent links to and commentary on whatever struck her fancy or her ire, to attract small legions of readers, fans and would-be stalkers. Her interests were as they are: myriad and eclectic, though certainly given to a particular fondness for the tech-y, the game-y and the kitschy. She is her own organizing principle, a kind of mad surfer on the crests of cultural lunacy, alternately acerbic, ecstatic and unintentionally insightful. She has since blogged for VH1's "Best Week Ever" and Exhausticated.com, providing her usual melange of cheek, snark and occasional observation.
