Paris Hilton runs out of gas

04:16 AM PT, Apr 10 2008

Okay, I really try not to write about celebrities and their misfortunes but this is too amusing. Paris Hilton did NOT know she had to fill her Bentley up with gas the other night and was saved by the stalking paparazzi. This clip is worth watching till the bitter end to see how she treats her spare change and here I thought it couldn't get any better after she uttered the words "I've never put gas in this car".

My favourite quote: "How much does gas cost?"

I wonder if someone's going to get fired for this incident...

Christie

It must be nice not having a care in the world...

Frank

It's amazing that she knows that she has to breathe.

Marilyn Terrell

I liked that quote too about "How much does gas cost?" Apparently that's one of her favorite questions, according to the New York Daily News:
“A hotel spy tells us: "Every time Paris saw something she liked [on a recent trip to South Africa], like a woman's dress, she would ask how much it was. That included a cheetah she saw at an animal park. She asked how much it was and said, 'If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?'" National Geographic's Pop Omnivore blog explains why Paris Hilton probably shouldn't buy a cheetah: http://ngm.typepad.com/pop_omnivore/2008/04/advice-to-paris.html

Christie St. Martin
Christie St. Martin was born in Bermuda and educated at two Canadian universities that would prefer not to be mentioned here until she supplies them with healthy building endowments. An uber-geek and proud of it, she established herself as an Internet presence with All Things Christie, a blog that managed, with its quirky and unabashedly self-indulgent links to and commentary on whatever struck her fancy or her ire, to attract small legions of readers, fans and would-be stalkers. Her interests were as they are: myriad and eclectic, though certainly given to a particular fondness for the tech-y, the game-y and the kitschy. She is her own organizing principle, a kind of mad surfer on the crests of cultural lunacy, alternately acerbic, ecstatic and unintentionally insightful. She has since blogged for VH1's "Best Week Ever" and Exhausticated.com, providing her usual melange of cheek, snark and occasional observation. Christie also contributes to LAT's Hero Complex blog.
