Labor of Love: 24 Hours of Male Pregnancy
So as you may or may not know Oprah is set to interview "the world's first pregnant man" today.
It seems the whole world is hopelessly fascinated with this particular transgender man. Which I think is only making the headlines because a large number of people seem to not realize what transgender really means. There is no miracle behind someone with a uterus becoming pregnant. He is just an ex-woman who never gave up his/her uterus. Not so shocking. ANYWAY...
There is one way for guys to feel pregnant for 24 hours -- and it is fully reversible! Try one of those Velcro-reinforced pregnancy simulators.
Darren Garnick lasted 24 hours in this suit and for that I give him a virtual pat on the back. But hey Darren, your wife is right, talk to her about pain when you reach 9 months in one. Some of us have more experience in this matter than others but as great as the reward is at the end of 9 months for women, what could convince a man to do it for 9 months when there can be no baby reward? Maybe a NBA/NFL/NHL season tickets for a year? Maybe a life time supply of steak? What would it take to convince you to wear this suit for a full term?
Darren chronicled his adventures with the pregnancy suit for the Boston Herald and if you have any stories about your own pregnancy or your wife/girlfriend/mother/sister/etc's experiences that you want to shove in his face, feel free to do so in the comment section here. I know he would love to hear your feedback.

I'm all for this as long as someone invents a "the five minutes after being kicked in the balls" simulator for women.

the religious zealots are turning this man having a baby thing into the imminent arrival of the antichrist. Zombie Jesus will have his revenge on the godless gender-switching heathens.
