Winehouse denied visa
Apparently bringing the weeks-long Amy Winehouse/Grammys watch to an end, the British R&B singer will not be attending this Sunday's Grammys in Los Angeles, according to multiple press reports.
The singer, who entered a drug rehabilitation facility in late January, had her visa application rejected by the U.S. Embassy, according to the Associated Press. Winehouse is nominated for six awards, including best new artist, for her breakthrough album "Back to Black." The awards may not, however, be completely Winehouse-free, as Billboard.com notes that "Winehouse may still appear on the CBS broadcast via satellite."
In other Grammy news, there's been plenty of coverage of Grammy week 'round these parts. Ann Powers attended last night's event to honor producers Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, and Don Heckman reviewed Tuesday night's "Grammy Salute to Jazz."

Bummer!...We need Big Hair at the Grammys...Erykah Badu where's your high turbins when we need them?...

Maybe this will persuade Amy to get rid of her loser parasite husband - Blake.
