Usher, Chris Brown join CBS special

The CBS special "Movies Rock" continues to line-up performers. Word is R&B artists Usher and Chris Brown, as well as country singer LeAnn Rimes, have joned the bill, which already includes Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Elton John, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend and Mary J. Blige, among others.

The CBS concert event wil be taped Dec. 2 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. It will air on Dec. 9.

It's unknown as the time of writing which songs each and every artist will be performing, but it's known that Underwood will offer up a cut from "The Sound of Music" and Beyonce will tackle "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Hmmm...that sounds like a job better fit for the Flamling Lips.

"Movies Rock" is being produced by Conde Nast Media Group, the Producers Guild of America and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
