The guild, known as Local 600 in the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, represents 6,600 camera crew professionals and publicists in film and television production nationwide.

Poster vowed to expand the guild’s training programs. The guild recently helped launch a 3-D technology center at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

‘In the coming term, we will continue our work to keep our sisters and brothers trained in the latest technologies that are changing the entertainment industry,’’ Poster said in statement. -- Richard Verrier
