Fox Cable to launch broadband spin-off of its Speed network
Hopefully this one will be better than the last "Speed 2."
Fox Cable is announcing this morning a broadband spin-off of its cable network Speed, which is devoted to motor sports. Speed2 will initially be available to Time Warner Cable subscribers. To see the broadband it, consumers will have to prove that they are Time Warner Cable subscribers.
Speed2 will make its debut in June and will have a wide range of exclusive racing events including Formula One Two and motocross.
Lest anyone think that the folks at Speed are not environmentally conscious, one of the races showcased on Speed2 will be the Time Trial Xtreme Grand Prix (TTXGP), which features zero-carbon, clean-emission motorcycles.
