DreamWorks Animation SKG said this morning that Phil Cross, the company’s chief accounting officer, will resign from his position after two years on the job.

The Glendale-based studio said Cross will be replaced by Heather O’Connor, who is the company’s director of SEC reporting, subject to approval by the DreamWorks board of directors. The company did not give a reason for the departure of Cross but said he will remain in his job until February to assist with the transition.
